REINHART GUEST HOUSE IMPACT
The Guest House serves more than 1,000 families annually, traveling from 48 states and internationally, to be near loved ones at St. Mary’s Hospital. Community members serve and support in many heartfelt ways, from writing notes filled with prayers and hope for our families, to preparing home-cooked meals that have most assuredly generated positive energy for our families. We see the impact of this kindness in the eyes of our caregivers every day.

LOCAL SUPPORT
We are reminded daily how important community partnerships are to the mission of hospitality at St. Mary’s Hospital. Keeping families close is the greatest gift we can offer. Funding opportunities have been deeply impacted by COVID-19 and the guests we serve are vulnerable. Local fundraising efforts like Rockin’ on the Avenue remain a strong source of funding and awareness for the mission.

Rockin’ on the Avenue raises critical awareness and funding, celebrates and elevates the importance of hospitality in health care and plays an integral role in sustaining the Guest House operation for the long term. Rockin’ committee members are the reason why this event is so successful; leveraging their personal and professional networks to help maximize community support for the event and broadening our donor base every year! Their advocacy reaches far beyond this event, which is why their commitments are so important. If you are interested in supporting this event, please contact
Lisa Patten at 804-281-8521 or lisa_patten@bshsi.org.
